Early Voting Starts in Maryland and DC This Weekend | News

WASHINGTON, DC (WUSA)--It's now Maryland and DC's turn to have a say in the Campaign 2012 election season. Early voting for the primaries begins full throttle in both jurisdictions on Saturday, March 24, 2012.
DISTRICT EARLY VOTING
DC actually started early voting earlier this week on Monday, March 19th, but at only one early voting center, One Judiciary Square. Saturday all 8 early voting centers will be open. Here are the sites and hours of operation:

In the District you don't have to go t the site nearest your residence for early voting. You can go to ANY site in the city.
DC residents will be able to cast ballots to select their political party's nominees for the following primary contests (the winners will advance to the general election ballot in November, along with independent and minor party candidates for each office):
Democratic and Statehood Green Voters:
President of the United States
Delegate to the U.S. House of Representatives
At-Large Member of the Council
Ward Member of the Council (Wards 2, 4, 7 & 8)
U.S. Senator ('Shadow Senator')
U.S. Representative ('Shadow Representative')
Republican Voters:
President of the United States
Delegate to the U.S. House of Representatives
At-Large Member of the Council

Early voting in Maryland runs through Thursday, March 29. The centers will be open from 10 am until 8 pm each day of early voting except on Sundays, early voting centers will be open 12pm to 6pm.
Maryland voters will be casting ballots to select their political party's nominees for the following primary contests:
President of the United States
U.S. Senator
U.S. House of Representatives: Districts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8
Judge of the Circuit Court: Judicial Circuits 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8
Board of Education
Mayor of the City of Hagerstown
City of Hagerstown Council
