No arrests made in police chase after Olney robbery | News
(WUSA9) -- No arrests have been made after at least two men lead Montgomery County police on a car on the ICC and I-95 after a robbery Monday afternoon in Olney.
Montgomery County Police say they pursued the men after an armed robbery at a Verizon Store in the 3200 block of Spartan Drive in Olney. The robbers fled the scene in a black Dodge Charge, police said.
While on the ICC, police say the vehicle struck a Montgomery County police cruiser. The chase then continued on I-95 all the way to Kenilworth Avenue, where officers lost sight of the vehicle.
Police did not specify exactly how many men were involved in the robbery but said there were at least two males and two handguns were displayed. The ages of the suspects were not specified.
No arrests have been made in the chase and police are looking at surveillance video from the Verizon Store to identify the robbers.
